In efforts aimed at supporting the resilience of Palestinians in Gaza and alleviating the impact of the raging “Israeli” war overshadowing the atmosphere of the holy month of Ramadan, the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army, conducted today, Saturday, five air drops of medical and food aid with the participation of several partner countries - a statement by the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) said today.

 

Participating in the airdrop which targeted several sites in the northern Gaza Strip were two (C130) aircraft belonging to the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF).

 

One of them carried out a drop of urgent medical supplies to the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza/77, along with an aircraft from the Arab Republic of Egypt, one from the United States of America, and one from the Federal Republic of Germany, marking its first participation with the JAF.

 

The Jordanian aid drop operation came in cooperation with Brunei, embodying Jordan's steadfast support for the Gaza Strip and reaffirming its commitment to providing assistance to Palestinian brethren under various circumstances, the statement said.

 

The JAF affirm their continued dispatch of humanitarian and medical aid through an airlift, either via aid planes from Marka Airport to El Arish International Airport, or through airdrops to the Gaza Strip, or by land aid convoys.

 

The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is working to unify international efforts to deliver more aid to the people of the Gaza Strip to help them confront the current conditions, especially during the holy month of Ramadan - the statement concluded.
