Royal Decree approves new Cabinet headed by PM Jafar Hassan

A royal decree was issued on Wednesday, approving the formation of the new Cabinet, led by Dr. Jaafar Hassan.
 
Below is the text of the royal decree, according to the Royal Hashemite Court (RHC):
 
"We, Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in accordance with the resignation of Dr. Bisher Hani Al-Khasawneh and pursuant to Article (35) of the Constitution, hereby order the following:
 
1. Dr. Jaafar Abdel Fattah Hassan is appointed as Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
 
Upon the recommendation of the aforementioned Prime Minister:
 
2. Ayman Hussein Abdullah Safadi is appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates. (Retained their post from the Bisher Al-Khasawneh government)
 
3. Raed Mudaffar Abu Al-Saud is appointed Minister of Water and Irrigation. (Retained their post)
 
4. Ahmad Maher Abu Al-Samen is appointed Minister of Public Works and Housing. (Retained their post)
 
5. Walid Mohi Al-Din Al-Masri is appointed Minister of Local Administration.
 
6. Dr. Mohammad Hussein Al-Momani is appointed Minister of Government Communications.
 
7. Bassam Samir Al-Talhouni is appointed Minister of Justice.
 
8. Lina Muthar Annab is appointed Minister of Tourism and Antiquities.
 
9. Khalid Musa Al-Hanifat is appointed Minister of Agriculture. (Retained their post)
 
10. Yaarub Falah Al-Qudah is appointed Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply.
 
11. Dr. Saleh Ali Kharabsheh is appointed Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources. (Retained their post)
 
12. Muhannad Shihadeh is appointed Minister of State for Economic Affairs.
 
13. Dr. Ahmad Ali Al-Awidi is appointed Minister of State.
 
14. Dr. Azmi Mahmoud Mufleh Al-Mahaftha is appointed Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. (Retained their post)
 
15. Muthanna Hamdan Gharaibeh is appointed Minister of Investment.
 
16. Dr. Mohammad Ahmad Khalaileh is appointed Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs. (Retained their post)
 
17. Mazen Abdullah Al-Faraya is appointed Minister of Interior. (Retained their post)
 
18. Dr. Feras Ibrahim Al-Hawari is appointed Minister of Health. (Retained their post)
 
19. Wafa Saeed Bani Mustafa is appointed Minister of Social Development. (Retained their post)
 
20. Dr. Muawiyah Khaled Al-Radaideh is appointed Minister of Environment. (Retained their post)
 
21. Dr. Nancy Ahmad Namrouqa is appointed Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. (Retained their post)
 
22. Zina Zaid Tawqan is appointed Minister of Planning and International Cooperation. (Retained their post)
 
23. Wisam Walid Al-Tahtamoni is appointed Minister of Transport. (Retained their post)
 
24. Abdul Munem Al-Oudat is appointed Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs.
 
25. Abdullah Nofan Al-Adwan is appointed Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs.
 
26. Dr. Fayad Malfi Al-Qudah is appointed Minister of State for Legal Affairs.
 
27. Khalid Mahmoud Al-Bakar is appointed Minister of Labor.
 
28. Dr. Abdul Hakim Al-Shibli is appointed Minister of Finance.
 
29. Mustafa Nasr Al-Rwashdeh is appointed Minister of Culture.
 
30. Dr. Khair Abdullah Abu Sailek is appointed Minister of State for Public Sector Development.
 
31. Yazan Hussein Al-Shdeifat is appointed Minister of Youth.
 
32. Sami Al-Smeirat: Minister of Digital Economy And Entrepreneurship.
 
The royal decree was issued from our Raghadan Palace on the 14th of Rabi’ al-Awwal 1446 Hijri, corresponding to September 18, 2024 AD.
 
The Prime Minister and cabinet ministers took the constitutional oath before His Majesty the King at Al Husseiniya Palace, in the presence of Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Prince Mired bin Raad, Chief Chamberlain at the Royal Court, and Royal Court Chief Yousef Hassan Al-Issawi.
