Israeli Occupation Defense Minister Yoav Galant has stated that Tel Aviv cannot dismantle Hamas without offering an alternative for governance in Gaza, as reported by Hebrew Channel 13.

 

This was expressed during a government meeting where they discussed terms presented by Hamas.

 

Sources revealed that Hamas has demanded the withdrawal of Israeli Occupation Forces from specific areas like Al-Rashid Street and the Salah al-Din axis as a first step towards allowing displaced individuals to return, within ongoing negotiations for a ceasefire amid the prolonged aggression against Gaza since October 7.

 

Hamas has also proposed the release of 50 Palestinian prisoners for each female soldier held captive, including 30 with life sentences. However, the Israeli Occupation Prime Minister's office has deemed Hamas' demands as unreasonable.
