The Palestinian Authority's security forces handed over three settlers to Israeli Occupation authorities after they mistakenly entered the city of Jericho, according to the Hebrew Channel Kan.

The settlers reportedly entered Jericho by mistake and were safely returned by the Palestinian Authority's forces, as stated by the channel.

Jericho, an ancient Palestinian city located in the West Bank near the Jordan River and north of the Dead Sea, dates back to 10,000 BC. It is the capital of the Jericho Governorate and is recognized as one of the oldest cities in history.

In 1994, the Palestinian National Authority took over the administration of the city, which is situated 16 km (10 miles) from the Dead Sea.
