The Syrian armed opposition factions, who orchestrated a lightning offensive that toppled the Bashar Al-Assad regime, have agreed to dissolve all groups and to be merged under the defense ministry.

 

The agreement came with Syria’s new leader Ahmed al-Sharaa, according to statements by the country’s new administration, cited by Reuters.
