The one local case involves a 24 year-old lawyer from Irbid.

The man was taken to quarantine in the Dead Sea region and the apartment building were he lives has been isolated.

Samples have been taken from everyone who has been in contact with the man.

Two of the cases from abroad are currently staying in hotel quarantine — one travelling from Saudi Arabia and one from Iraq.

The two other cases involve Jordanian truck drivers who have entered from Saudi Arabia via Al-Omari border crossing.

A total of seven recovered COVID-19 patients were reported today, all of which were discharged from isolated areas in the Dead Sea.

The Ministry of Health reiterated the need to adhere to preventive measures, avoid gatherings of more than 20 people, wear facemasks, social distance, and use Aman and Sehtak mobile applications.
