AMMAN — UNICEF and the National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA) on Tuesday presented a strategy resulting from their national campaign to end violence against children in Jordan titled “Ma’an, Together Towards a Safe School”, according to a UNICEF statement.

 

The strategy underlined the need to focus on the prevention and response to violence in homes, schools, and government systems, calling for a swift strengthening of laws that ensure better protection for children, in line with the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
