“Israeli” forces raid Nur Sham refugee camp in Tulkarm

Clashes erupted following the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) incursion into the West Bank, in the the city of Tulkarm and its refugee camp, as well as the Nur Shams camp, early Monday.
 
The IOF stormed Tulkarm city with more than 25 military vehicles and four bulldozers, spreading through its streets connecting it to the outskirts of Tulkarm camp, while destroying infrastructure and digging up roads.
 
The IOF positioned their vehicles in the Jabal al-Nasr neighborhood and the Al-Maslakh alley in the camp, and they excavated the main street opposite the camp entrance and the vicinity of the Nasr Mosque - Clashes erupted in the camp's vicinity amid the sounds of intense explosions.
 
The IOF’s bulldozers vandalized Palestinian properties at the entrance to the Al-Manshiyya alley and demolished a car wash belonging to the martyr Mutassim Al-Ali, who was assassinated by the IOF on February 7.
 
They also destroyed infrastructure in various streets and alleys of the camp, including the schools alley and the Qalansuwa alley, amidst the firing of flares into the camp's sky.
 
The IOF stormed Tulkarm camp after withdrawing their vehicles from the Nur Shams camp, following a five-hour military operation.
 
The occupation authorities intensified their military measures, deploying 23 battalions across the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, coinciding with the arrival of the month of Ramadan, as reported by the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA).
 
“Israeli” forces obstructed, on Sunday evening, the entry of hundreds of worshipers to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque to perform Taraweeh prayers, detaining some of them at the gates of the mosque and hindering their access to it. Restrictions were imposed on young men entering Al-Aqsa for Taraweeh prayers, while women over the age of 40 were allowed to enter.
 
The IOF have imposed a strict siege on Al-Aqsa Mosque for five months, preventing entry, and have issued dozens of expulsion orders against Jersulaem’s residents to prevent them from praying during Ramadan.
