Sharp drop in gold prices in Jordan within 24 hours

Gold prices in Jordan saw a significant decline on Thursday evening, dropping by 30 piasters per gram, according to the Jewelers Syndicate.
 
The latest pricing showed that the selling price for one gram of 21-karat gold in local shops decreased to JD 47.70, with the buying price at 45.80.
 
The price for one gram of 24-karat gold also fell, with the selling price now at JD 55.20 and the buying price at JD 52.90.
 
For 18-karat gold, the selling and buying prices dropped to JD 42.50 and JD 39, respectively.
 
Earlier in the day, gold prices in Jordan had already decreased by one dinar per gram. The selling price for one gram of 21-karat gold was JD 48, with the buying price at JD 46.10. The price for one gram of 24-karat gold was JD 55.50 for selling and JD 53.10 for buying. Meanwhile, the 18-karat gold prices were at JD 42.80 for selling and JD 39.30 for buying.
 
This drop in gold prices in Jordan aligns with the global trend, where prices have been influenced by ongoing concerns over the Chinese economy.
