AMMAN — The head of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, Fathi Jagbir, in the presence of the Jordanian Ambassador to Algeria, Ahed Sweidat, inaugurated on Saturday the Jordanian pavilion at the 2025 African Trade Fair.
The event was held in the Algerian capital under the patronage of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and included the participation of 14 Jordanian industrial companies, according to Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI) statement.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition, which runs until the tenth of this month, was also attended by Economic Advisor at the Jordanian Embassy Wael Mahadeen, Export Promotion Manager at the Export House Company Khaled Saoub, and Ahed Rajabi, a member of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry Council.
More than 2,000 exhibitors from 80 African countries are participating in the exhibition, in addition to Jordan, which is the only Arab country from outside the African Union to participate, according to Al Rai Newspaper.
The fair is considered one of the "most prominent" economic exhibitions on the African continent, a strategic hub for Arab-African integration, and an important platform for strengthening economic relations between Jordan and the African Union. It also provides an opportunity to meet a large number of African business people.
