“Israel” claims Hezbollah’s killed top commanders planned invasion of Galilee

Roya News

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) claimed that the top leadership of Hezbollah special operations forces “al-Hajj Radwan Force” were “planning an infiltration into Israeli territory for years, to be executed when given the order.”

In the statement, the IOF further claimed that senior commander Ibrahim Aqil and the rest were responsible for planning, advancing, and executing hundreds of operations against “Israel”, including what it says was a “murderous scheme to raid the communities of the Galilee.”

The IOF named the top Hezbollah leadership killed in the strike on a residential building in Beirut yesterday, including Ibrahim Aqil, who was the head of Hezbollah’s military operations, acting commander of the Radwan Force, and second-in-command behind Hasan Nasrallah.

Hezbollah announced the death of Aqil yesterday, hours after the airstrike took place, along with other members of al-Hajj Radwan Force.

Aqil was meeting with other senior commanders of the special operations force in a building in Beirut; 15 other senior officers were killed in the strike.

The IOF claims Ahmed Wabi, the head of Hezbollah’s training unit and former commander of Radwan force, was also killed in the strike.

Other names in the statement include: Samer Halawi, commander of the coastal region; Abbas Muslimani, commander of the Qana region; Abdullah Hijazi, commander of the Ramim Ridge region; Muhammad Reda, commander of the Khiam region; Hassan Madi, commander of the Mount Dov region; Hassan Abd al-Satar, head of operations; and Hussein Hadraj, chief of staff.
