Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, was sentenced to 14 years in prison on Friday after being convicted of corruption. This ruling comes amid a series of legal battles for Khan, who is named in over 200 cases.

 

Additionally, his third wife, Bushra Bibi, was sentenced to seven years in connection with the same case involving embezzlement of funds from Khan's foundation, the "Al-Qadir Trust."

 

Local sources confirmed that Bushra Bibi was immediately arrested following the verdict.
