AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry on Friday announced that an attack and an act of vandalism targeted the residence of the Jordanian ambassador in Khartoum.
According to a ministry statement, the ambassador and the embassy staff are currently in Port Sudan, and were unharmed during the incident.
The statement expressed the Kingdom’s condemnation of any acts of violence and vandalism, especially when directed towards diplomatic premises.
It underscored the importance of adhering to the principles of international law and relevant international agreements, mainly the Vienna Convention.
