Over 27,000 coronavirus cases recorded this week in Jordan: MoH figures

Figures issued by the Ministry of Health for this week (Nov. 20-26) showed that Jordan recorded a clear increase in the number of cases, deaths, and the PCR positivity rate. 
 
 
This week, Jordan recorded 155 deaths, the highest weekly number in six months, and 27,204 infections, the highest number in eight months.
 
The mean PCR positivity rate was 9.10 percent, the highest in six months. 
 
The total number of deaths from the coronavirus in Jordan since the start of monitoring the pandemic has risen to 11,486, while the total number of infections has reached 936,619.
