'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu clarified that the ongoing situation is not the end of the war but rather a ceasefire, which he said could be short-lived.
Netanyahu claimed that after the assassination of Yahya Sinwar and the separation of fronts between Gaza and Lebanon, the terms of a prisoner exchange deal have shifted in favor of Tel Aviv.
In statements made Thursday, Netanyahu indicated he might agree to a ceasefire in Gaza but emphasized it would not signify the conclusion of the war. He also asserted that his objectives in Lebanon have been achieved.
"We will use the ceasefire to rearm and expand our weapons manufacturing capabilities," Netanyahu stated.
He further announced that 'Israel' would receive weapons previously withheld by the United States.
Netanyahu reiterated his commitment to preventing Iran from becoming a nuclear-armed state, vowing to take all necessary measures.
