AMMAN — A military source said on Wednesday that the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army (JAF) had targeted and destroyed multiple factories and workshops on the northern borders used as operational bases for launching illicit activities into Jordanian territory.

 

The source said in a statement that the operation against illicit drug and weapons factories was carried out in coordination with regional partners.

 

The army source stressed that JAF remains alert to any attempts to threaten the Kingdom’s security or the safety of its citizens, and will continue to confront any threats with force at the appropriate time and place.
