Kingdom’s oil import bill falls 3.4% through October

AMMAN — Jordan recorded a 3.4 per cent decline in its oil import expenditures by the end of October, easing pressure on the Kingdom’s total imports
 
According to the foreign trade report issued by the Department of Statistics (DoS), the value of the Kingdom’s imports of crude oil and petroleum derivatives reached approximately JD2.173 billion by the end of October, down from JD2.249 billion during the same period in 2024, a decrease of JD76 million.
 
Fuel and mineral oils accounted for the largest share of petroleum imports at JD738 million, followed by crude oil at JD610 million. Gasoline imports stood at JD343 million, diesel at JD441 million, lubricating oils at JD37 million, and kerosene at JD4 million.
