Aggression on Gaza enters 199th day

Roya News

The Israeli Occupation army continues its aggression against the Gaza Strip for the 199th consecutive day, perpetuating a campaign of extermination since last October.

On this 199th day, the death toll increased due to successive massacres by the Israeli Occupation army, particularly with the bombing of homes in Rafah, which is facing a looming invasion. Rafah is home to over a million and a half people who have been displaced from various cities and neighborhoods of the Strip due to the ongoing aggression.

Additionally, the Civil Defense in Gaza reported the recovery of 50 bodies of martyrs buried by Israeli Occupation Forces in a mass grave inside the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis.

Major Mahmoud Basal, the Civil Defense spokesperson in Gaza, also stated that approximately 2,000 Palestinians went missing after the Israeli Occupation Forces withdrew from multiple areas in the Strip. Basal expressed concern about their fate, as it remains unknown whether they were detained or buried underground.

He highlighted the Israeli Occupation's systematic use of forced disappearance, often bulldozing bodies and burying them before withdrawing from areas in Gaza. Many of the martyrs were reportedly stripped naked before being killed, with their bodies registered as "unknown." Basal also raised concerns about the use of new weapons previously unseen in human history.

Basal called on international institutions to investigate these grave violations and determine the types of weapons used.

Regarding casualties, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported a provisional toll of 34,097 martyrs and 76,980 wounded since last October, reflecting the high toll of the ongoing aggression.
