Donald Trump has officially accepted the Republican Party's nomination for the upcoming presidential elections in November.

In his speech at the Republican Party convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Trump declared, “Tonight, I accept with all faith, sincerity, and pride your nomination of me for president of the United States.”

 

- Promising an 'amazing' win -

 

Trump expressed confidence in achieving an "amazing victory" in the upcoming elections, promising Americans the "best four years in the history" of the United States if he is elected.

 

He emphasized his commitment to serving all Americans, calling for unity and solidarity, especially in light of a recent assassination attempt which he attributed to divine protection.

 

- A call to 'save the country' -

 

Trump urged his supporters to "save the country from a failed and incompetent administration," criticizing inflation, the influx of migrants at the border, and international conflicts, blaming his Democratic rival, Joe Biden, for these issues.

 

“Under the current administration, we are truly a nation in decline,” he stated.

 

- Border wall pledge -

 

Trump called for an end to "criminalizing opposition or demonizing political differences," criticized the legal actions against him, and urged Democrats to stop labeling him as an "enemy of democracy."

 

He pledged to close the country's borders on his first day in office if elected and to complete the construction of the wall on the US-Mexico border, a major project from his first term.

Trump criticized the current White House's foreign policy, suggesting that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un "misses him."

 

He added, "I agree with him, and he might want to see me again. I think he misses me," referring to their previous meetings during his presidency.
