CPF’s Naua initiative raises JD3.3m to fund 100 projects across Kingdom

The Jordan Times

AMMAN — Naua, an initiative of the Crown Prince Foundation (CPF), has collected more than JD3.3 million that supported over 100 projects in all governorates.

Naua-affiliated Nahno volunteer platform provided more than one million voluntary work hours, the CPF announced on Monday.

The announcement was made during a CPF press conference to announce the achievements of Naua’s cooperation with the private sector to electronically connect donors with charity associations, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

CPF CEO Tamam Mango said that the foundation’s vision is “capable youth for ambitious Jordan”, where the CPF operates to enhance work, entrepreneurship, leadership and patriotism.

Mango said that the CPF aspires to achieve an empowering and supportive youth environment, access and influence youth across the Kingdom and lead comprehensive initiatives for youth.

For his part, Naua CEO Ahmad Zu’bi said that more than 600,000 people have directly benefited from the initiative through projects that were implemented with Naua partners.

Regarding Nahno, Zu’bi expressed appreciation for their partners and the support received from UNICEF, noting that joint efforts reached more than 40,000 users of the platform with more than 95,000 voluntary opportunities.

Naua is the region’s first social impact platform that aims to promote philanthropy and civic engagement by enabling all to give back to their community. It is an online platform for social impact that operates within a common framework to measure and showcase impact, according to the CPF’s website.

Naua operates through two online platforms, naua.org and nahno.org, which allow civil society organisations to showcase their projects, enable individuals to contribute and volunteer towards causes they care about, and help organisations support projects that align with their strategies.
