AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, HRH Crown Prince Hussein on Thursday met with European Union Commissioner for the Mediterranean Dubravka Šuica.

 

The Crown Prince expressed his appreciation for the partnership between Jordan and the European Union across various fields, particularly in the security and economic spheres, emphasising the importance of the EU’s efforts to achieve regional stability, according to a Royal Court statement.

 

Discussions during the meeting also covered the Jordan-EU Investment Conference, scheduled to take place later this year, which aims to build on the Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership between Jordan and the EU, and deepen cooperation across key areas.

 

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zeina Toukan, and Director of the Office of the Crown Prince Zaid Baqain attended the meeting.
