QAIA welcomes 782,000 passengers in November, up 25.8%

AMMAN — Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) recorded "robust" performance in air traffic in November, welcoming 782,481 passengers, marking a 25.8 per cent increase compared with the same period in 2024.
 
According to a statement by the Airport International Group on Sunday, aircraft movements saw a notable rise, reaching 6,846, up 26.9 per cent, while air cargo handled 6,164 tonnes, reflecting a 2.0 per cent increase compared to November 2024.
 
The group noted that during the first eleven months of 2025, QAIA handled 8,921,229 passengers, up 10.3 per cent compared to the same period in 2024.
 
Aircraft movements reached 73,249, marking an 8.5 per cent rise, while air cargo fell by 8.0 per cent to 64,237 tonnes.
 
Airport International Group CEO Nicolas Devillier said, “Every milestone achieved at Queen Alia International Airport is a testament to the trust our passengers place in Jordan’s main air gateway.”
 
He added that the continued growth in air traffic reflects the group’s strong regional position and the dedication of its teams and partners, who work tirelessly to provide a seamless and welcoming journey, making passengers feel at home.
