AMMAN – The Jordanian Embassy in Cairo released a statement urging Jordanian citizens residing in or visiting Egypt to follow Egyptian authorities' directives on currency carrying and exchange within Egyptian territory and airports, Khaberni reported.
The embassy also encourages Jordanians to convert currency through approved banks and exchange organizations under the Egyptian Central Bank's requirements. It warns against breaching these guidelines by exchanging currency through unlawful methods, as legal consequences exist.
