The Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) stated that at exactly 8:00 AM today, a patrol of the Jordanian Border Guard Forces clashed with two individuals attempting to infiltrate and smuggle narcotics within the area of responsibility of the Southern Military Zone.

 

Rules of engagement were applied, resulting in the seizure of the narcotics found in their possession and the killing of the two individuals named Jameel Atallah Awad Al-Saidein and Mahmoud Eid Salamah Al-Saidein - according to the statement.

 

“The Jordanian Armed Forces are continuing with all their strength in defending the homeland and preserving its security and stability,” the statement added.
