Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, claimed responsibility for the West Bank bus shooting in a statement issued today.
The operation took place in the city of Salfit, near the settlement of Ariel.
The attack targeted a bus carrying “Israeli” soldiers and settlers, leaving nine people injured, three of whom are in critical condition – per Al-Qassam’s statement.
Al-Qassam mourned Samer Mohammad Ahmed Hussein, a 46-year-old man from the village of Einabus near Nablus, who was declared as a martyr by the group in the statement.
Hamas warned the Israeli Occupation, saying that the blood of “Israeli” soldiers and settlers will continue to be shed in response to "Israeli" policies in the region and the West Bank.
