Jordan records 86 deaths and 4,750 new COVID-19 cases

Jordan has recorded 86 deaths and 4,750 new coronavirus cases Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 141,305.
 
The number of COVID-19 deaths in Jordan now totals 1,704.
 
The cases are: 
 
2,102 in Amman
348 in Zarqa
220 in Tafilah
167 in Balqa
129 in Karak
32 in Aqaba
1,133 in Irbid, including 33 in Ramtha
237 in Ajloun
174 in Mafraq
139 in Jerash
40 in Ma'an, including 24 in Petra
29 in Madaba
A total of 223 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 150 have been discharged upon recovery.
 
There are 2,113 patients receiving treatment in hospitals, including 455 in the Intensive Care Units.
 
A total of 16,502 PCR tests have been conducted Saturday, bringing the total number of tests conducted since the beginning of the crisis to 2,174,443.
 
Saturday, 28.8 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
