AMMAN — Jordan on Monday morning recorded its fourth death related to the coronavirus at King Abdullah University Hospital in Irbid, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The deceased, identified as an 81-year-old woman, suffered severe complications from her infection, notably pneumonia, Director of King Abdullah University Hospital Mohammad Ghazo said.

The death was the first corona-related fatality to be recorded at the hospital in the northern governorate, according to Petra.

The Health Ministry on Sunday announced the third corona-linked death after a 64-year-old man, who had been undergoing treatment for the virus, died at Prince Hamzah Hospital in Amman.
