Hebrew media said that a large rocket barrage was launched from Lebanon on the 40th day of the assassination of Hezbollah's Secretary-General Nasrallah.
The barrage was described as the largest since September 27, the date of Nasrallah’s death.
According to reports, one of the rockets fired hit Ben Gurion Airport in Lod, central Tel Aviv.
Hebrew Channel 12 said that flights were halted at the airport following the rocket strike.
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) said it detected some 10 rockets launched from Lebanon toward central and northern areas, some of which were intercepted.
