AMMAN — A second Emirati aid plane loaded with medical equipment and COVID-19 test kits to enhance the Kingdom's efforts to contain the pandemic arrived at Queen Alia International Airport on Thursday.
Representative of the UAE diplomatic mission in Amman Khalid Nuaimi told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that the aid is part of the directives and efforts of the Emirati leadership to enhance global solidarity in the fight against the virus and provide support to medical workers on the frontline.
Nuaimi added that the assistance highlights Abu Dhabi's “important role in supporting brotherly countries” and enhancing Jordanian-Emirati ties.
