AMMAN — Amman Public Prosecutor Thaer Nassar on Tuesday issued a gag order prohibiting the publication or distribution of any information regarding audio recordings that may contain mentions or references to the Public Security Directorate (PSD) or its former director.

 

The order prohibits audiovisual and social media platforms from publishing any information about the case or the proceedings of the preliminary investigation, as well as any discussion of the case's legal characterisation or potential penalties, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

 

The order also prohibits the distribution or re-publication of any photos or videos related to the case.
