AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry has “strongly” condemned the “terrorist” attack targeting Syrian security forces and US troops near the city of Palmyra in Syria, resulting in several deaths and injuries.

 

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Fuad Majali affirmed the Kingdom’s full solidarity with Syria and the United States, rejecting all forms of violence and terrorism that seek to undermine security and stability, according to a ministry statement.

 

Majali reiterated Jordan’s support for Syria in its reconstruction efforts based on foundations that preserve its territorial integrity, sovereignty, security, and stability, eliminate terrorism, and safeguard the rights of all Syrians.

 

He extended sincere condolences and sympathy to the governments and peoples of Syria and the United States, as well as to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
