Sahar Madanat Haddad wins international Red Dot Award

Jordanian Sahar Madanat Haddad was recently awarded the international Red Dot Award, as the latest addition to her 11 international design awards in the last two years alone. She stands as one of the first Arabs to receive this international mark of design excellence. Her innovative medical design concept Heart Aid is an emergency response device for home use that empowers anyone to rescue a heart attack victim. Heart Aid has been receiving wide media attention and already awarded three international design awards including; Spark Awards, USA, A’Design Award in Italy, and most recently the renowned Red Dot Award, Germany. Sahar’s winning design “Heart Aid” is currently on display in the Red Dot Museum in Singapore; the largest contemporary design museum in Asia. It will also be showcased in special exhibitions touring the world in cities such as Tokyo, Sydney, Seoul, Moscow, Beijing and Dubai.The design also received “Patent Pending” Status in the United States and is in the process of being matched with suitable medical manufactures to be realised.
