Netanyahu opened his UN General Assembly speech vowing to counter "slanders" at the world body, where many delegates were spotted walking out as soon as he started speaking.

 

"After I heard the lies and slanders leveled at my country by many of the speakers at this podium, I decided to come here and set the record straight," Netanyahu said.

 

Netanyahu warned Iran, saying: “If you strike us, we will strike you”.

 

“There’s no place that the long arm of Israel cannot reach, and that’s true of the entire Middle East,” he added.

 

Netanyahu further said he has a message to the world.

 

“We are winning,” Netanyahu claimed.

 

“Hamas has got to go!” He continued.

 

“If Hamas stays in power; it will regroup and attack Israel once again.”

 

“We don’t seek to re-settle Gaza, we seek a demilitarized Gaza.”
