The head of the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) Spokesperson's Unit, Daniel Hagari, claimed that the leadership of Hamas is detached from the field conditions in Gaza and ‘out of touch’ in recent statements Saturday evening.
Hagari added during a press conference that the IOF will continue its efforts to release all ‘Israeli captives’ held in Gaza by Hamas.
The IOF targeted Hezbollah sites in south Lebanon, HagaiI noted, and that an investigation is underway into the circumstances and location of the killing of Sa'ar Baruch in the Gaza Strip - after Al-Qassam Brigades repelled a rescue attempt by the IOF.
Israeli Occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that they persist in the war to eliminate Hamas and achieve its objectives. Netanyahu added in a press conference that he strongly appreciates the “correct stance” of the United States in the United Nations Security Council.
Netanyahu stated that other countries must understand that it is impossible to reconcile support for eliminating Hamas with supporting a ceasefire.
Hebrew Channel 13 reported that Netanyahu informed US President Joe Biden that the “fighting in Khan Yunis would continue for an additional month."
