AMMAN — The Royal Naval Force, in cooperation with Civil Defence Department personnel put out a fire that erupted on Saturday noon in a boat at the Royal Yacht Club Jordan in Aqaba.

No injuries were reported.

Other boats in the area were not affected as firefighters isolated the burning boat to control the flames.

An investigation is under way to identify the cause of the fire.
