Safadi reiterates Jordan’s condemnation of Iranian attacks

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi on Thursday stressed the repercussions of the dangerous escalation in the region and prospects for de-escalation, restoring calm and advancing diplomatic efforts to enhance security and stability.
 
During phone calls with counterparts, Safadi reiterated Jordan’s full condemnation of the Iranian attacks on Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait, stressing the Kingdom’s unwavering solidarity with its brotherly countries.
 
He reiterated that Jordan stands firmly alongside them in all measures to safeguard their security, stability, sovereignty, and the safety of their citizens, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
 
The minister affirmed their countries’ solidarity with Jordan, expressing support for all measures taken by the Kingdom to protect the safety of its citizens, its security, and its sovereignty.
 
Safadi held phone calls with Djibouti's Foreign Minister Abdoulkader Houssein Omar, Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defence Helen McEntee, Czech Foreign Minister Petr Macinka and Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys.
