Universal Metal Coating Company Limited (UNICOIL) based in Saudi Arabia's Jubail Industrial City, got the Jordanian Quality Mark (JQM), from Jordan Standards and Metrology Organisation (JSMO) for its
galvanised steel sheets and pre-painted steel sheets products. This is the first time that JSMO grants its JQM to a Saudi company. The company president, Raed Bin Abdullah Al Ajaji, said the company is
aware of Jordan's advanced status in scientific areas and its interest in specifications and standards controls, which prompted the company to request the adoption of JQM. Al Ajaji praised JSMO and the high professionalism of JQM Department. He also paid tribute to the Royal Scientific Society for its advanced equipment and professionalism its personnel who participated in verification process of the company'sconformity to JQM requirements.
