At least nine people died and seven are missing in South Korea, following floods caused by unprecedented torrential rains.
The country's officials said that the rain falling since Monday is the heaviest recorded in South Korea in 115 years.
Floods especially hit the well-to-do district of Gangnam, while vehicles were submerged.
For his part, an official in the Ministry of Interior stated that the floods caused the death of nine people and the loss of seven.
