On Monday, the Jordanian field hospital in southern Gaza distributed food aid in Khan Younis, South Gaza, as part of the ongoing humanitarian efforts by the Jordanian Armed Forces in collaboration with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO).
This initiative aligns with the Royal directives and the Kingdom of Jordan's commitment to supporting the people of Gaza and aiding their resilience.
The director of the field hospital said: "In continuation of the hospital's humanitarian and relief role, which reflects the principles and values of the Jordanian Armed Forces, we prepared 1,000 aid packages today. These packages included food and relief materials to be distributed to the residents in southern Gaza, to support and alleviate their suffering amid the challenging conditions in the region."
Local residents expressed their gratitude and appreciation for Jordan's honorable stance towards the Palestinian people and its continuous support for the Palestinian cause under the leadership of King Abdullah II. They prayed for the safety and well-being of Jordan and its leadership, people, and army.
Since its establishment on Nov. 20, 2023, the field hospital in southern Gaza has provided medical and therapeutic services to approximately 78,000 patients.
