Gaza Government Media Office confirmed that Israeli Occupation Forces carried out two massacres in northern Gaza, targeting residential buildings.
In a statement released Friday, the Gaza office reported that 'Israeli' airstrikes hit apartment buildings belonging to the Shalail and Ghandour families in northern Gaza. These strikes left over 170 civilians inside, resulting in 84 casualties, including over 50 children, with dozens missing or injured.
The office called on the international community, humanitarian organizations, and UN agencies to immediately fulfill their humanitarian duty to protect civilians, hospitals, and healthcare institutions.
The statement also urged for the entry of surgical medical teams, ambulances, and the restoration of civil defense operations to save lives, emphasizing that the ongoing targeting of these essential services constitutes a crime against humanity, to which the international community has remained silent.
