AMMAN — The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) on Wednesday said that air defences have shot down a missile and two drones launched from Iran towards the Kingdom over the past 24 hours.
JAF said in a joint statement with the Public Security Directorate (PSD) that the Royal Jordanian Air Force dealt with the threats with high efficiency.
PSD said that it handled six reports of falling debris over the past 24 hours.
The directorate said that no injuries recorded as a result of falling shrapnel, except for minor material damages.
It also warned against approaching or handling any suspicious objects or debris and urged the public to follow official instructions and report any sightings via the emergency number 911.
