The Cabinet decided to approve the extension of its previous decision to exempt tickets for airlines that depart from King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba, from the special tax, for a period of three years.

 

This came during its session held Sunday, headed by Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh.

 

The decision aims to encourage tourism in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone and attract more airlines within the departure section of King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba, in addition to increasing the number of tourists.
