A joint statement was signed today to establish diplomatic relations between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.
The agreement aims to strengthen ties of friendship and cooperation between the two nations and institutionalize joint efforts across various sectors, including political, economic, social, cultural, and scientific fields, to serve their mutual interests – per the Foreign Ministry's statement.
The statement was signed on behalf of both governments by Jordan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York, Ambassador Mahmoud Dhaifallah Hmoud, and Equatorial Guinea's Permanent Representative, Ambassador Anatolio Ndong.
The signing took place at Jordan's Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York.
