Hamas responds to report exposing Biden, Blinken ignoring “Israel” intentionally starving Gaza

Hamas expressed outrage over a recent ProPublica report revealing US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, with the complicity of US President Joe Biden, intentionally concealed the fact that the Israeli Occupation is starving the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The report uncovered the fact that after careful investigation, US government authorities concluded that “Israel” intentionally obstructed crucial humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza.

The findings from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration indicated that “Israeli” actions effectively blocked the transport of essential food and medical supplies into the region.

These assessments were communicated to Blinken, noting that US law mandates the cessation of weapons shipments to countries that impede humanitarian assistance, in this instance “Israel.

However, despite the serious nature of these findings, Blinken and the Biden administration opted not to acknowledge or act upon them.

On May 10, shortly after receiving the reports, Blinken issued a carefully worded statement to Congress, asserting, “We do not currently assess that the Israeli government is prohibiting or otherwise restricting the transport or delivery of U.S. humanitarian assistance.”

This assertion starkly contradicted USAID officials' conclusions, who provided detailed accounts of Israeli interference with aid efforts, including attacks on aid workers, destruction of agricultural structures, and systematic denials of access to trucks carrying essential supplies.

In light of these revelations, Hamas swiftly condemned the US administration, accusing Blinken and Biden of complicity in the humanitarian disaster unfolding in Gaza.

The group asserted that their actions amounted to a cover-up of “Israel's” alleged war crimes, stating, “This is a new confirmation of the complicity of this American administration, and of Blinken and Biden personally, in the genocide against the Palestinian people.”

Furthermore, Hamas called for investigations into Blinken’s conduct, claiming that his decisions and statements have directly contributed to the deaths of thousands of Palestinians, whether through direct violence or through starvation and deprivation resulting from the blockade.

The group urged the international community, particularly the International Criminal Court (ICC), to take these allegations seriously and hold accountable those deemed responsible for the suffering of the Palestinian people.
