Amman Chamber of Commerce President Khalil Al-Haj Tawfiq announced Saturday that customs fees have been unified across all Syrian border crossings. The new fees will be implemented starting Sunday.

 

Following the fall of Bashar Al-Assad's regime and the establishment of new governance in Syria, Jordanian exports to Syria have resumed after a 13-year hiatus.

 

On Saturday, the first shipments of fruits and vegetables departed from the Al-Arda Central Market to Syria, facilitated by the Jordanian Exporters Union.
