Queen Rania Shares Personal Family Photos New Instagram Account

Queen Rania of Jordan has set up an Instagram account, giving her scores of fans a rare insight into her family's personal life.

"Relaxing to her tunes after a long day at work," wrote Rania along with a picture of one of her two daughters, Iman and Salma, playing the guitar. "#guitar #music #Amman #Jordan."

"He's home for the holidays... Finally!" she chose as the heartfelt caption to accompany a picture of herself standing between her two sons Prince Hashem,8, and 19-year-old Prince Hussein, who is currently studying at Georgetown University in Washington.

The 43-year-old mother-of-four has also documented Jordan's recent freak snow storm on the photo-sharing site.

"Back to the office," she wrote with a photo of herself almost knee-deep in snow. "With some difficulty!"

The royal then photographed her husband, King Abdullah II, helping a group of men whose car was stuck in the blizzard.

The freezing temperatures prompted Rania and her family to send clothing donations to those in need.

"No better time to appreciate the importance of warm clothes," she wrote. "Sorting out a few boxes in support of Clothing Bank campaign. Pls do the same."

Already an avid Twitter user, Queen Rania created the Instagram account last week when she attended Nelson Mandela's memorial service in Johannesburg.

The queen shared a picture from when she had previously met Mandela, as well as images of the dignitaries who attended the memorial ceremony, including Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and Archbishop Demond Tutu.
