Al Quds College launched last week the USAID/HED-funded "Community College Entrepreneurship Integration to Incubation" project in cooperation with Washtenaw Community College in Michigan. The event included presentations and short videos by prominent entrepreneurs in different fields. This project is considered the first of its kind among community colleges in Jordan offering Al Quds students the opportunity to start up their own projects/business — with full support — prior to graduation at the Colleges' Business Incubator. The project reflects the entrepreneurial approach adopted by Al Quds College management; aiming to spread the culture of entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation among its students in addition to offering the opportunity to both students and staff to attend free of charge workshops in entrepreneurship and innovation. Al Quds College was able to build strong business relationships with many important colleges in the US. Supported by the USAID and HED, the college is executing two projects related to entrepreneurship and business incubators.
