'Sinwar Above Ground': Hamas official's revelation shocks Israeli Occupation

Roya News

Yahya Sinwar, head of Hamas in Gaza, inspected areas of clashes with Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) and met with fighters on the ground, not just in tunnels, according to a Hamas official speaking to London-based pan-Arab news outlet, Al-Araby Al-Jadeed.

The official, who chose to remain anonymous, said Sinwar remains engaged despite ongoing aggression and Israeli Occupation intelligence operations.

He dismissed claims of Sinwar being isolated in tunnels as Israeli Occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's attempt to deflect from his own failures and stressed Sinwar's active leadership on the field.

Reports of Sinwar leaving tunnels sparked protests by captives' families outside Netanyahu's residence.

In related news, Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya stated that Hamas has proposed a ceasefire for over five years, offering to establish a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital and the return of refugees, according to statements he gave to American news agency, Associated Press (AP).

Al-Hayya, speaking to AP, denied allegations that Hamas blocked a ceasefire agreement, placing full responsibility on the Israeli Occupation government.

He emphasized Hamas' desire for Qatar to continue mediating and reiterated the movement's demand for a permanent ceasefire and the complete withdrawal of Israeli Occupation Forces from Gaza.

Al-Hayya rhetorically questioned, "Why hand over captives if we're not sure the war will end?"
