AMMAN — Oil prices continued their upward trend in Friday's trading, bolstered by growing expectations of a global resurgence in demand for the black gold.
Futures for US crude oil rose by 0.82 percent, reaching $90.90 per barrel, while futures for the global crude oil blend "Brent" saw a 0.76 percent increase, reaching $94.41 per barrel, according to data from Bloomberg, Hala news reported.
On Thursday, oil prices had touched the $94 per barrel mark, marking their highest level since mid-November 2022.
