A non-commissioned officer working at the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) died on Friday, May 15, while extinguishing a fire that engulfed a dry grass field in the northern governorate of Ajloun.

 

 

The Public Security Directorate (PSD) identified the martyr as Sargent Qais Mohammad Al-Odat.

 

Earlier in the day the martyr was transferred to a nearby hospital, where a rock thrown off a rooftop struck him, causing him severe fractures
